Matt Wilber

Matt was elected as the Pottawattamie County Attorney in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 2002, after working as a criminal defense lawyer and federal judicial law clerk.  He has been a trial lawyer for twenty years, successfully handling dozens of state and federal jury trials - many of which have been subject to considerable trial publicity.  He is a Past President of the Iowa County Attorneys Association (ICAA) and routinely trains prosecutors and law enforcement officers on effective trial practice.  Matt has been a National District Attorneys Association (NDAA) faculty member since 2009 and sits on the NDAA National Board of Directors.  Matt was recently inducted as a Fellow with the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.
